This year the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) activity was held for five days, 14-18 March 2022. The University of Indonesia owns this annual event involving MM \/ MBA business schools from within and outside the country. This year, MM-UBAYA sent five delegates: Zofarizal Gusfa, Adelia Intan, Lusthya Resita, Rizal Maulana, and Muhtar Gozali. This year’s GNAM is attended by Master of Management students from various national and international universities. Universities that participated in GNAM this year included the University of Surabaya, the University of Indonesia, the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIMB), the University of New South Wales (UNSW), the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT), and so on. This year’s theme is “Nurturing Green Growth to Reinforce Resilience and Sustainable Recovery.” The main challenge for companies is implementing sustainability strategies during and after the pandemic; companies must pay more attention to applying the Triple P Principle (People, Profit, and Planet). This activity was held in several sessions, sharing sessions\/seminars with practitioners from the Government and Private Sector, who filled in the sharing session, including the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Industry, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI), PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Pegadaian Persero, Strawberry Patch, PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk, PT Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper (RAPP \/ APRIL), PT Aneka Tambang, Tbk. This seminar gave students much insight into the company’s caring practices in protecting and preserving the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all sharing sessions, all participants are given a project to answer and present the problem following the theme that has been given. One of Ubaya’s representatives, Zofarizal Gusfa, entered group 7, which consisted of UBAYA master management students, UI, Tarumanegara University, Udayana University, and ESMT. In the group, they answered all questions by discussing and exchanging ideas. The discussion results were presented, and made a video presentation under the committee’s rules. Group 7 managed to get the runner-up position from the effects of our presentation and video presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Degnen following GNAM activities, MM UBaya students are invited to interact with students, especially international students, to learn from each other and respect differences of opinion in a high diversity environment. MM Ubaya continues to equip students with competencies to work in a global setting that is different in culture, language, and way of thinking. Appreciating diversity is one of the characteristics of the scholar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
