READY FOR 2022: ANTICIPATING THE FUTURE 

MM Ubaya once again held a webinar on Saturday, December 12, 2021, to students and the public. This time, the seminar presented Mr. Tanadi Santoso, the University of Chicago MBA alumnus, a motivator and presenter of Business Wisdom on Pas FM Radio. In this webinar, Tanadi talked about anticipating the future. He explained that the Covid-19 outbreak forces the business world to change, primarily related to the need for interdependence, new speed, and complexity. The pandemic has accelerated e-business, changed the supply chain, changed people’s lives, and, not to forget, changed government regulations. It gives each individual and professional a new mirror to re-determine their “identity”. The Covid-19 drastically determines our creativity, time, capacity, and willingness to grow, requiring individuals and organizations to change. An essential keyword for organizations today is Agility, which is the ability to adapt and anticipate changes in the current environment quickly.

130 participants attended this webinar and they enthusiastically participated in the event for approximately two hours. Various webinar activities by inviting various business practitioners and visiting professors from abroad are routinely held every semester so that MM Ubaya students can gain practical insights from domestic and foreign academics and business practitioners. This is part of experiential learning which will undoubtedly be a provision for students when they graduate and work in the business world.
