ISCRBM 2021 and APMMI ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

On 17-19 December 2021, the Alliance of Indonesian MM Programs (APMMI) once again held the 6th International Seminar of Contemporary Research on Business and Management (ISCRBM). This time the ISCRBM was held in a hybrid manner – online and offline, where offline, it took place at the Century Park Athlete Hotel Jakarta. On this occasion, Dr. Elsye Tandelilin lecturer MM Ubaya again recorded achievements as Best Paper in Human Resource Management. Dr. Elsye’s paper titled “The Role of Government Support on Entrepreneurs’ Success in Micro and small enterprises in Surabaya.” This paper discusses government policies, especially the Surabaya city government, related to Economic Heroes and Young Fighters on the success of entrepreneurs (Micro and Small Enterprises). As is known during the pandemic, many businesses are experiencing difficulties, including micro and small businesses. Dr. Elsye discussed how these family economic heroes could survive with the support of policies from the Surabaya city government.

At this year’s meeting, in addition to the implementation of ISCRBM, the Annual Member Meeting was also held; where in this meeting, the accountability report of the APMMI management for 2018-2021 was submitted and replaced by the APMMI Core Management. One of the APMMI core administrators in 2019-2021, Dr. Werner R. Murhadi as chairman of the Ubaya MM Program, was again trusted to hold the position of Treasurer of APMMI for the 2022-2024 period. MM Ubaya always strives to be active in various APMMI activities as a forum for MM study program associations containing the best-ranked study programs in Indonesia.
