BUSINESS VISIT MM-MAKSI UBAYA

On Saturday, 22 July 2023, the Leadership Club MM-MAKSI UBAYA conducted a Business Visit with the theme “Future Information Technology to Enhance Business Competitiveness.”  This activity was carried out by visiting two companies, namely PT Atlantic Biruraya, which produces bottled drinking water under the Cheers brand, a Mikatasa business group, and Jatim Park. The company visit at PT Atlantic Biruraya aims to enable participants to see and observe the production stages of several types of packaging on Cheers drinking water.

After PT Atlantic Biruraya, the next activity was to visit Jatim Park management at Jatim Park 3. The business visit at Jawa Timur Park began with Mr. Suryo (Director of Jatim Park 3), who shared his actual experiences, such as the change of the ticketing system, which was initially manual, now using technology such as the use of Google forms and software for ticket information systems. In addition, the use of CCTV was also carried out to increase security in the company. Mr. Suryo also explained his challenges, such as technological developments that caused adults to have difficulty adapting and the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years. The impact of the pandemic has made it difficult to take action due to limited income. To progress the company, Mr. Suryo emphasized the importance of collaboration with the government, the community, and the media through Corporate Social Responsibility programs and the importance of continuing to expand the company.

Business Visit activities are routine activities carried out so that students can learn more closely how business practices are in the real world.
